Black Friday 2026 is on Friday 27 November, and Cyber Monday is on 30 November. Retailers have not announced their walking pad offers yet. This guide gives you the prices walking pads sell for now, so you can tell whether a Black Friday price is a genuine saving. We will update the page when Black Friday prices are published.

Why a big “was” price is not proof of a bargain
Several walking pads above show a “was” price two to three times their current price. When we first checked on 24 September, they were already selling at today’s prices. So if one of these pads is advertised on Black Friday at “60% off”, the useful question is simple: is it cheaper than it was in October and early November?
Irish law helps here. Since 29 November 2022, a business announcing a price reduction on goods must show the prior price, which is the lowest price it charged in at least the previous 30 days, and base the discount on it. The rule also covers back-to-back campaigns such as Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday. The CCPC explains the rules here. Decathlon, for example, prints “The lowest price in the 30 days before the discount was…” next to reduced items.
A simple method: screenshot the product page with today’s price and date, check again in mid-November, and compare with the Black Friday price. If the saving is only a few euro, you may be better off buying when stock and delivery times suit you.
What to check before you buy in a sale
- Weight limit: most budget pads are rated at 100–120 kg. If you are near the limit, look at 145–150 kg models. See our guide for heavier users.
- Speed: 1–6 km/h is plenty for walking and desk use. You only need 10 km/h if you want to jog.
- Size and storage: measure where it will live, including under the sofa or bed if you plan to store it there.
- Delivery time: Home Fitness Code states free delivery, usually in 6–7 working days. If it is a Christmas present, do not leave it to the last week.
- Returns: for online purchases you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period after delivery to cancel and get a refund (CCPC). You may have to pay to send back a 20–26 kg parcel, so read the returns terms first.
- Warranty: compare the terms. Home Fitness Code states 12 months, Elverys lists 1 year on the Body Sculpture EZ, and Decathlon states 2 years on the W500B. Your statutory rights for faulty goods apply on top.

Should you wait for Black Friday?
Not necessarily. If you would use a walking pad every day from now on, eight weeks of walking are worth more than a possible €10–€20 saving. Waiting makes more sense if you are choosing between two models, or eyeing a pricier incline pad where a genuine reduction could be larger.
