Updated 13 October 2026 · Elverys prices and policies checked 13 October 2026
Elverys is one of the few Irish high-street retailers that sells walking pads, and one of the only places where you can try one before you buy. On 13 October 2026 it listed two models, both from Body Sculpture: a basic walking pad at €199 and a version with a handrail at €299. This guide covers what you get, how delivery and returns work at Elverys, which stores have demo models, and how the prices compare with online alternatives.
Key points
- Elverys sells two walking pads: the Body Sculpture EZ Walking Pad (€199) and the Body Sculpture Walking Pad with Handrail (€299). Both walk at 1–6 km/h.
- Both are rated for a maximum user weight of 100 kg, lower than many online alternatives (typically 120–150 kg).
- Walking pads are home delivery only: Elverys charges €20–€40 for home-gym items and quotes 7–15 working days. There is no click & collect.
- You can try a walking pad in selected Elverys stores, and return an unused one to any store for free within 30 days.
Elverys walking pads compared
| Model | Price | Speed | Max user | Handrail | Notable features |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Body Sculpture EZ Walking Pad | €199 | 1–6 km/h | 100 kg | No | 1.5 HP peak (0.75 HP continuous) motor, remote, LED display, transport wheels; 124.2 × 52.9 × 12.2 cm |
| Body Sculpture Walking Pad with Handrail | €299 | 1–6 km/h | 100 kg | Yes, adjustable | Folding design, 6 preset programmes, remote, safety key, device holder, transport wheels |
Body Sculpture EZ Walking Pad (€199)
The EZ is a straightforward walking-only pad. Elverys lists a 1.5 HP peak motor (0.75 HP continuous), speeds from 1 to 6 km/h, a remote control and an LED display showing time, speed, distance and estimated calories. At 12.2 cm tall it can slide under a sofa or bed, and transport wheels help you move it. The main limitation is the 100 kg maximum user weight. There is no incline and no handrail.
Body Sculpture Walking Pad with Handrail (€299)
The handrail version adds an adjustable handrail for balance, a holder for a phone or tablet, six preset programmes and a wireless remote, with an emergency safety key. Elverys describes it as compact and foldable. It is still limited to 6 km/h and, like the EZ, is rated for 100 kg. At €100 more than the EZ, you are mainly paying for the handrail.
Delivery, returns and in-store demos
Delivery
Walking pads fall under Elverys’ home-gym and oversized items. Its delivery information page lists these as home delivery only, at €20 for regular delivery items or €40 for oversized items, with delivery in 7 to 15 working days. Elverys’ free delivery over €70 and next-day delivery apply to standard orders, not to home-gym items. Check the delivery charge shown at checkout for the model you choose.
Returns
Elverys’ returns policy offers a refund on unused, resaleable items returned with their original packaging within 30 days of receiving the order. Returns to any Elverys store are free; bring your order confirmation or reference number. You can also post items back to its distribution centre. For a 15–20 kg box, the free in-store return is a real advantage over online-only sellers, where you usually pay to send a bulky item back.
Where can I try an Elverys walking pad?
When we checked Elverys’ store information on 12 October 2026, it listed walking pad demo models at these stores:
- Dublin: Fonthill and Dundrum
- Cork: Kinsale Road
- Galway: Galway Retail Park, Headford Road
- Elsewhere: Limerick (Parkway), Sligo, Dundalk, Kilkenny, Clonmel, Letterkenny and Tralee
A demo model does not mean there is stock to take home: Elverys delivers walking pads rather than selling them off the shelf. Displays change, so phone the store before you travel.
Elverys vs buying online: how the prices compare
Elverys’ walking pads cost more than similar pads from online specialists, and have a lower weight rating. The trade-off is easier returns and the chance to try one first.
